Oven Baked Fish


Baking fish in the oven is quite fun and it is quite different from frying fish in a frying pan. Since you will be using little or no oil at all, you want to spray your baking pan with Pam so that the fish will not stick to it while they are baking.




So how do you make baked fish? One easy way to do so would be to place the fillets into the aluminum foil package and place it in a shallow baking dish and bake as long as the recipe requires. The easiest way to tell if a fish is cooked just right is to use a fork and touch it to see if it will flake easily.


Below is a quick oven baked fish recipe which you can try at home:


Ingredients:


  • 2 pounds fresh fish, washed and dried with paper towels
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs



Instructions:


1. Get a baking pan and spray it with Pam.


2. Preheat the oven to 500.


3. In a bowl, add in the milk.


4. In another bowl, add in the bread crumbs.


5. Dip each fillet into it the first bowl with milk and dredge it into the bowl with bread crumbs.


6. Place the coated fillets in the baking pan and arrange them so that they do not touch each other.


7. Pour the melted butter over them and sprinkle some paprika over them.


8. Place the baking pan into the oven and let it bake for 12 minutes uncovered.


9. Serve and enjoy.
