Baked Fish Sticks Recipe


  • 1 lb codfish fillets
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 sweet pickle



Instructions:


1. First of all, you need to wash the codfish fillets and be sure to use some paper towels to pat them dry. After that, cut them into long pieces.


2. Now, spread the bread crumbs on a waxed paper.


3. In a mixing bowl, add in the eggs and mix it well with a fork.


4. Now, dip each strip of fish into the eggs and then roll it around the bread crumbs to coat it.


5. In a baking pan, lay the fish strip out.


6. In a frying pan, melt the butter and pour it over the fish sticks.


7. Bake it for 15 minutes at 400°F (204°C).


8. Best serve with tartar sauce.
