Baked Cod Fish


Cod fish is a type of white-fleshed fish that is high in nutrients and it is popular because it is said to be good for your blood and heart. Because it is mild tasting, you can season it with various types of seasonings and flavorings. While baking cod fish, you can use either fresh or frozen cod fish. It really doesn't matter which one you use but fresh is always preferable.




Below is a simple oven baked cod fish recipe for you:


Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 pounds cod fillet, skinned, boned and dried with paper towel
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • salt and pepper to taste



Instructions:


1. First of all, preheat the oven to 375.


2. In a baking dish, add in the butter and let it melt.


3. Now, place the cod fish into the baking dish and top them with tomatoes.


4. Top it with cheese and pour the half and half cream over everything.


5. Bake it for 25 minutes.


6. Serve and enjoy.
