Baked Cod Fish Fillets


Baked cod dish fillets are surprisingly easy to make at home. To ensure that the fish fillets will be cooked just right, you want to bake it so that it is just golden and that you can easily flake it with a fork.




Below is a simple recipe for making baked cod fish fillets:


Ingredients:


  • 2 cod fillets
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 3 tablespoon bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon tartar sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, divided
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano leaves, divided



Instructions:


1. First of all, preheat the oven to 400.


2. In a bowl, add in the tartar sauce.


3. In another bowl, add in the bread crumbs.


4. Dip the cod fillets into the first bowl with tartar sauce then dredge it into the second bowl with bread crumbs.


5. In a non-stick baking sheet or a baking pan sprayed with Pam, add in the fillets and arrange them so that they do not touch each other.


6. Arrange the tomato slices alongside the cod fillets.


7. Sprinkle the lemon juice and oregano leaves on top of the tomato slices.


8. Bake for 10 minutes.


9. Serve and enjoy.
